very general? no, very judgemental. They tell me what I can and cannot own on my own land. Association rules are for safety and for upkeep? For example, I know I must have a wood fence, why do I need anyones approval if its wooden?? Second example, why do inground pools need vegetation around them? It goes on and on. Mow your lawn, keep your front house looking great, fence in your yard if you want a boat or a pool there and the story should end there? I dont mean to be rude, but the rules shouldnt tell me anything more. Who voted on these rules and more importantly WHEN?
