The rules were established by the Luther Forest family many years ago in legal cooperation with the developers. It is a Community Association and you should have know this when you bought your property. If you were not informed and did not receive a copy of the Covenant of rules then your realtor and/or lawyer is at fault -- and having a wood fence sometimes does need to be written in black and white for all to see. If we didn't tell you that wood fences were required, there would be chain link, and iron and plastic and who knows what all over the place. I think many other residents agree.
