How expensive is gas heat in Model C

I am thinking of installing a Rinnai heating unit in my Model C townhouse. Could someone please give me an idea of the heat and electric cost for 2002-2003 season in their model C townhouse. I have just the electric heat now and it ran approx. $1600 for the season. Is it worth the conversion??
