Tina's point is 100% correct in my opinion. Association members have too much power. They have set up these rules that basically give them power. The wooden fence is a perfect examples. Why does anyone need to approve a fence as long as its wooden? Rules for safety and rules to maintain property value. The rules should be so straight forward that NO ONE should need to write to the board for approval.
