This one is a no-brainer... It is by far the best investment you can make with your model C. First if you're at about $1600 per year for utilities right now, you would drop that to about $1080.00 per year. $133 per month versus about $90.00 per month and thats total usage. $1600 is very low with electric heat, so your gas and electric may be even lower, sounds like your not home much or you don't mind a it cool in winter. A Rinnai will run about $1800-$2200 installed by a professional heating contractor (less if you did it your self)
That means about a 3-4 year break even point on the savings. But heres the better part. The Rinnai or any quality space heater will actually increase your homes value by about $4000-$5000 on average. Therefore the conversion has an almost immediate return of about 200% on your investment, thats hard to beat.
