Thanks for the info Hugh. I have even greater news for installation. Suburban Propane has the Rinnai unit at a sale price of $1249.99 for model #556 plus installation and materials. I figured it will cost me less than $1900 to purchase and install. Their number is 489-3271 - 76 Railroad Ave. Albany. I hope you're right regarding the cost - I'm a single person household.
