You are correct that Guyer was not the only builder. Rosen-Michaels built the contemporary style townhomes, but I do not know of a third builder. There was no code enforcement when this development was built, therefore, there are all sorts of bad stuff that no one knew about or just turned their heads. For instance, the drain lines are supposed to be 6' deep or 4' with insulation by State standard for this part of the country because of freeze line (this is from Saratoga County) yet there are many drains that are only about 24" under and will freeze up for sure at some point. Who do you go to? The builder? They subcontracted so much work - you would have to get in line to complain!
