Siege Week celebration is planned
Schuylerville -- To commemorate the 226th anniversary of the American victory in the Battles of Saratoga, several community organizations have joined together to plan the first annual Siege Week celebration next week.
The series of events commemorates the seven days British Gen. John Burgoyne's troops were besieged in Old Saratoga before he surrendered.
